Community Groups

Do you work with vulnerable people, children, the elderly or people with addictions?

Are you looking to support these people with their emotional wellbeing so that they can better manage their day-to-day lives?

Then you are in the right place.

Did you know that in addition to my work with corporate enterprises, I also offer emotional wellbeing support to individuals, community groups and other organisations? Over the past 16 years I have worked in a wide range of settings, from peoples’ homes to national charities, from schools to Brownies groups.

Emotional wellbeing and mental health are becoming more widely discussed in the media and as many as 1 in 4 people face mental health difficulties each year, however the availability of support remains varied. Despite the increase in media coverage, the number of people who find it difficult to open up to friends and family about their mental health has doubled between 2019 and 2021, from 19% to 43% (www.timetochangewales.org.uk).

How do I work?

I can offer tailored and personal support to your groups in a setting of your choice, ranging from one-off sessions to a bespoke course created just for you.

Training courses can be delivered to group leaders to give them the skills and confidence to support the emotional wellbeing of the people they work with. Emotional support sessions can be delivered to the group leaders, the group members, or both!

The focus is always on supporting people to reach their goals whilst providing them with insight into their emotional wellbeing.

What topics do I deliver?

There are a huge range of topics I can deliver sessions on, and the way I deliver these will vary depending on whether the session is an emotional support session or a training session. Topics include:

Mindfulness
Low feelings
Stress and anxiety
Anger management
Mental health basics
The important of rest
