And So It Began…

I came into the world on the hottest day of 1981, in sunny South Yorkshire. I was happy and loud, yet a bit of a shy youngster.
My school report read ‘talks too much, could do better’ and if I ever write an autobiography, that would be it’s title.

Aged 18 I moved to Stratford-upon-Avon to study acting, and this gave me an excellent footing in confidence in life.

Following this, I took a good few years soul searching, travelling the globe and generally being a bit lost in life. In 2007 I settled in South Wales and found my calling within mental health support.

My little people.

My little people.

Me, away from work.

When I am not working, you’ll mostly find me with my family (me, him, two little ladies and our English cocker spaniel), or being maybe too honest on social media, or raising a glass of red with friends and family. I am fortunate to have a huge gratitude list (and I make a point of mentally or physically writing one daily) which includes lots of gorgeous people in my world.

Proud feminist. Lover of all things mindful. Desperate to read more. Desperate to dance on more dancefloors. Wannabe knitter/sewer/creator. Enjoyer of films. Mother.

Still talks too much, and could always do better.
